Who is Beachals?

Beachals is woman owned. I have always loved any form of crafting. I travel to various markets and festivals. A few of the markets that I have had pop ups in include the Ballito Farmers Market, the Sweetdale night market by Packshed, Market 031 in Durban North, the Clansthal Craft Market, the Uvongo Fleamarket, The Field Market, Victoria Yards, Irene Red Barn, amongst others.

Beachals® are handmade, beautiful, boho style, unique beaded footwear that encompasses barefoot elegance.

Beachals® has been trademarked under the South African Trademarks Act, 1993. I am proud to say that Beachals is now a registered brand in the clothing industry.

I absolutely love building my little brand. I make stunning arm and ankle bracelets to compliment the beautiful Beachals® and the newest addition are removable hair wraps and beaded glasses chains. I make every item myself and I never double on a design, unless it is requested. All my beads are locally sourced. I love to use wood beads, as the wood beads aid in the grounding effect when walking barefoot.

Not forgetting that just being barefoot in nature is a special occasion in my eyes, also dancing in barefoot elegance is the epitome of freedom.
